About Advanced Interiors: Aaran and Saffron
Advanced Interiors is Aaran and Saffron: Aaran designs and fits, Saffron co-runs the business, and nobody earns commission.
Who we are
Advanced Interiors is Aaran and Saffron. There is nobody else between you and us: no showroom staff, no sales team, no subcontracted fitter you meet for the first time on the morning of the install.
Aaran is the person you deal with. He has over 15 years’ experience designing and fitting bespoke furniture, and he still does every part of it himself. He comes to measure, draws your furniture in 3D while he is with you, places the order and fits it. When you have a question about your job, you speak to the person who measured it and will fit it, not a call centre.
Saffron co-runs the business, looking after the accounts, customer care and social media, so every project runs smoothly from first enquiry to the final invoice.
Aaran brings over 15 years’ experience to every job. We set the business up the way we would want to buy fitted furniture ourselves: one knowledgeable person from start to finish, a clear price, and no pressure.
Based in Sileby
We started in Sileby, between Leicester and Loughborough, and we are still based there. We fit across Charnwood and Loughborough every week: Quorn, Mountsorrel, Barrow upon Soar, Rothley and the villages around them.
From Sileby, Leicestershire, LE12, we design and fit across Leicestershire: Leicester and its suburbs, Hinckley, Earl Shilton and the villages around Market Bosworth, Coalville and Ashby-de-la-Zouch, and across to Nuneaton and Atherstone. We also fit in Nottingham and Derby.
Instead of a showroom, we bring the samples to you. You see the door styles and colours against your own walls and carpet, in your own light, which is the best way to choose a finish you will go on liking.
Why we have the furniture made rather than build it
We design and fit, and the furniture is made to our specification.
Every carcase, door and sliding system is made to our specification, and to your room’s measurements, by established furniture manufacturers in Leicestershire. We chose this deliberately, for three reasons.
The first is consistency. A factory cuts and edges every panel the same way every time, so the 18mm solid-back carcase, with solid 18mm backs and tops, is the same standard on every job we fit.
The second is finish. The door styles we offer, from a Harrington four-panel to a fluted Stockholm or a Manhattan with its handle built in, come in wrapped and painted-look finishes that need proper equipment to do well. We would rather you had a factory finish than a hand-finished approximation of one.
The third is time. A bespoke job is won or lost in the design and the fitting: measuring the room properly, planning the interior around what you actually own, and scribing every filler and end panel to your walls and ceiling on site, so the furniture meets the plaster with no gaps. That is where we spend our time.
How we work
Nobody at Advanced Interiors earns a commission. There is no sales target behind the design visit and no reason for us to push you towards anything you don’t need.
You get one clear price that includes everything, fitted, with nothing added later. The quote is valid for 30 days so you can take your time. No obligation, no sales calls.
Every job is covered by our guarantee: 10 years, fitted by us. If a door needs adjusting within the guarantee, the person who fitted it comes back.
We only do fitted bedrooms, home offices and living-room storage, plus fitted bathroom storage such as vanity units. We don’t fit kitchens, bathroom suites, tiling or flooring, and we don’t fit furniture bought elsewhere.
If you would like to see what that looks like in practice, our projects are listed by town, and you can book a free design visit whenever you are ready.
Why choose bespoke
The difference you'll notice.
Made to your room, not a catalogue
Many national companies build in set heights and widths, then close the gaps with filler strips. Your furniture is made to the exact height, width and depth your room needs, so it looks as though it was always there.
Designed around your life
No set interior layouts and no short list of colours. Every shelf, rail and drawer is planned around what you own and how you use the room, in the finish you choose.
One person, start to finish
With many companies you meet a designer, then a surveyor, then a fitter you have never seen before. With us, Aaran designs your room, measures it and fits it himself, so you always know who is coming into your home.
Built to last: an 18mm solid-back carcase, premium soft-close hinges and drawers, and every edge scribed to your walls and ceiling by hand.
The anatomy of a bespoke wardrobe
Every filler and end panel is scribed by hand to your walls and ceiling, so the furniture meets the plaster with no gaps.
A wide choice of bars, knobs, cup and edge pulls, or doors with the handle built in, in finishes from brushed brass to matt black. Shown here: Hallaton handles in brushed brass, set perfectly level across every door.
Shaker, panelled, fluted or slab, in the colour and finish you choose. Shown here: 4-panel Contemporary Shaker in Cashmere.
Soft, dimmable lighting set into the shelves, so the display catches the light morning and evening.
Two rails, one above the other, for shirts, jackets and folded trousers. Twice the hanging in the same width.
Soft LED strips run down each section, so everything is easy to find, even on dark winter mornings.
Long hanging for dresses and coats, set at the height that suits you.
Wide, deep drawers on soft-close runners, for knitwear and the things you would rather keep out of sight.
Shelves spaced around what you own, from jumpers to spare bedding, each with room to breathe.
Low-sided trays that bring every pair into view, then glide quietly back.
Lit open shelves at the end of the run, for the pieces you want to see every day.
Questions people ask
Do you have a showroom I can visit?
No. We work from Sileby and bring the samples to you at the design visit, so you see the door styles and colours in your own room, in your own light, next to your own carpet and walls.
Who actually comes to my house?
Aaran. He does the design visit, draws the furniture in 3D with you, places the order and fits it. If you have a question at any point, you ring or message him and speak to the person who knows your job.
Do you build the furniture yourselves?
We design and fit. Every panel is made to our specification and your room's measurements by established manufacturers in Leicestershire, then we check it, fit it and scribe it in your home.
