Fitted wardrobes, home offices and media walls in Nottingham

Advanced Interiors is based in Sileby, Leicestershire, and we design and fit wardrobes, home offices and media walls in Nottingham, West Bridgford, Wollaton and Beeston. The furniture is made in Leicestershire to our specification, Aaran does the measuring, the design and the fitting himself, and we bring the samples to your home.

Fitted wardrobes in Nottingham

Ours are made to your room’s measurements: an 18mm carcase with solid 18mm backs and tops, soft-close hinges and drawers, and every filler and end panel scribed to the wall and ceiling on site, to the millimetre. Sloping ceilings, alcoves either side of a chimney breast and walls that are not quite square are the normal run of our work, not a problem to be covered with trim.

You choose the doors from the samples we bring: Harrington 4-Panel, Chester or Contemporary Shaker for a traditional bedroom; Shaker No Grooves or Capri for something plainer; Stockholm or Oslo, both fluted, or Manhattan with its integrated handle for a modern room. Aluminium-framed sliding doors with board, mirror or glass panels, including smoked or reeded glass, suit a bedroom where there is no room for a door to swing. Inside, the hanging, shelves and drawers are arranged around what you own, and the price includes every panel, plinth, cornice, handle and interior.

Home offices in Nottingham

The home office we fitted in Bramcote is in dusky pink and coffee supermatt: desk, storage and shelving fitted into the room in a pair of colours chosen for it. That is the point of a fitted office: the desk at the height you want, drawers and cupboards for the paperwork, shelves for whatever you need to hand, and the cables run out of sight. Worktops in 36mm are available, as is dimmable LED lighting in warm or neutral white, so the room works as well on a dark January afternoon as it does in June.

Media walls and fitted living in Nottingham

Fitted living is the same thinking applied downstairs. A media wall sets the television into one piece of furniture with cupboards either side, lit shelves and space for an integrated fire, fitted to the wall and scribed to the ceiling so it reads as part of the house. Alcove cupboards either side of a chimney breast, under-stairs storage and hallway cupboards use the same construction and the same door styles as the bedroom, so the house hangs together from room to room. The Porcelain white alcove units we fitted in Nottingham do exactly that, with staggered, lit open shelves either side of the chimney breast.
