What our price includes

Everything you see and everything you don’t. One figure covers the carcases, the doors and drawer fronts, the plinths and cornices, the end panels, the handles, and the interior: hanging rails, shelves and drawers. It covers the fitting, and it covers the scribing of every filler and end panel to your walls and ceiling on site. There is nothing to add at the end.

That matters because a price for the units and doors alone can grow once the plinths, cornices, end panels and handles are added. We would rather you knew the whole figure before you say yes. If you are comparing companies, our guide to how the national chains compare sets out what to ask each one.

What moves the price up or down

Width and height. The biggest factor is how much furniture there is. A run across a whole wall costs more than a run across half of it, and furniture that reaches the ceiling uses more material than furniture that stops short. Fitted furniture usually runs floor to ceiling, because that is where it makes the most of the room.

Door style and finish. This is the difference between the three tiers above. The 18mm solid-back carcase, the scribing and the fitting are the same whatever you choose.

What’s inside. An open space with a rail and a shelf is the simplest interior. Banks of drawers, pull-out shoe trays, pull-down hanging rails, jewellery trays and divided drawers each add a little. We will always tell you which parts of the interior are moving the price, so you can decide which ones are worth it to you.

Sliding doors and glass. Aluminium-framed sliding doors with smoked or reeded glass are a different system from hinged doors, and they cost more. On a wide run, or in a room where a hinged door would catch the bed, they are often the right answer.

Lighting and worktops. Dimmable LED lighting in warm or neutral white, and 36mm worktops for a dressing table or a desk, are available on request and priced only when you ask for them.

The room itself. A square room with flat walls is quick to fit. Sloping ceilings, chimney breasts, coving, out-of-true walls and old floors need more scribing, more end panels and more time on site. That work is what makes it fit, and it has to be allowed for.

Why we don’t publish prices

Because every room is different, a published price can only ever be a rough guide. A “from” figure is true for the smallest, plainest job and grows for everyone else. We would rather measure your room, draw it and give you one clear figure that holds. We don’t run sales or discounts, so there is no better time of year to buy.

How to get a figure for your room

Book a free design visit through our contact page. Aaran comes to your home, measures the room, talks through what you need and brings the sample boards so you can see finishes in your own light. You then get a 3D design and one quote, valid for 30 days. There are no sales calls: if you want to go ahead, you tell us. From your go-ahead to fitting day is usually 6 to 8 weeks, and the same person who measured your room is the one who fits it.

Questions people ask

Do you offer finance?

No. We don't offer finance. You pay us directly, and the figure on your quote is the whole figure.

Is the design visit really free?

Yes. Aaran comes to your home, measures the room, listens to what you need and brings the sample boards. You then get a 3D design and one quote. There is no charge, no obligation and no sales call afterwards.

Are there hidden extras?

No. Plinths, cornices, end panels, handles, the interior, the fitting and the scribing are all in the one figure. If you change the design before you order, you get a new figure for the whole job, not a list of add-ons.

Do you price-match?

No, we don't price-match. We quote once, at a fair price, and that figure stands.

Can I spread the work over several rooms?

Yes. Several rooms can go on one quote and be fitted in stages.
