Who we are

Advanced Interiors is the trading name of A Garner (A Garner T/A Advanced Interiors), a sole trader based in Sileby, Leicestershire, LE12. We design and fit wardrobes, home offices and living-room storage. This page says what we do with the personal information you give us, in plain English. For anything about it, email enquiries@advanced-interiors.co.uk or call 07867 524331.

What we collect

  • The enquiry form: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, what you’re thinking of having done and anything you write about the room. The form also records which page you were on and, if you came from a social post or an advert, which one, so we know what brought you to us.
  • Calls, texts and WhatsApp: your number and the gist of what we talk about, noted so we can act on it. WhatsApp’s own terms apply to messages sent through WhatsApp.
  • The design visit and the quote: the measurements, photos and drawings of your room, your address for the visit and the fitting, and your quote. Your quote lives on its own private web page. The page notes when it has been opened, so we know whether a follow-up is needed.
  • The job: your order, invoices, payments and the record of what we fitted, which we need for your guarantee.
  • Photos of the finished furniture: used on our website or social media only with your agreement, and never with your name or address. We ask for your agreement at the end of the job.

Why we use it

  • To reply to you and answer your questions.
  • To visit, measure, design and quote.
  • To order the furniture, fit it and invoice you.
  • To follow up a quote. If we haven’t heard back, we may check in by email, WhatsApp or text over the weeks after we send it. Tell us to stop at any time and we will.
  • To keep the records we need for your guarantee and for tax.

We don’t send newsletters, and we never sell your details or pass them to anyone for marketing.

Our lawful basis

The UK GDPR asks us to say which lawful basis we rely on: when you ask us for a quote or we have a contract with you, we use your details to carry that out (contract). Following up a quote, keeping records for the guarantee and running the business day to day are our legitimate interests, weighed against yours. Keeping tax records is a legal obligation.

Who we share it with

  • The manufacturers who make the furniture to our specification get the sizes, finishes and drawings, never your contact details. The order reference may carry your surname, and nothing is delivered to your home.
  • Our accountant, for the business’s accounts and tax.
  • QuickBooks and Stripe, which we use to invoice and take payments. If you pay by card online, Stripe handles your card details and we never see your full card number.
  • Cloudflare, which hosts this website and the enquiry form, so your enquiry passes through its systems on the way to us. Our email and diary run on Google’s services.
  • If our own enquiry system is down, the form sends your enquiry through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, which passes it to us by email.
  • Nobody else, unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t go ahead: 2 years after our last contact, then deleted.
  • Quotes and job records: 6 years, the time HMRC asks us to keep records.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The enquiry form remembers, for your visit only, which page, post or advert brought you here; your browser clears that when you close the tab. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, which works without cookies and collects no personal data about you, so there’s no cookie banner. We also count how many times the Call, WhatsApp and email links are tapped on each page; only the count and the page are kept, nothing about you. The map on our Areas page is loaded from OpenStreetMap when you scroll to it, so your browser asks their servers for the map images; it sets no cookies. The Google reviews on our pages are fetched by our own site from Google about twice a week; your browser doesn’t contact Google to show them. The enquiry form has spam protection from Cloudflare, which may set a cookie to tell people from bots. If Aaran sends you a link to book your design visit, that booking page uses TidyCal, a scheduling service, which sets its own cookies and has its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it (unless we need to keep it for the guarantee or for tax), and ask us to stop following up at any time. Email enquiries@advanced-interiors.co.uk and we’ll reply within a month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If anything here changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
