We design and fit bespoke fitted wardrobes across Leicestershire from our base in Sileby, between Loughborough and Leicester. Aaran measures your room, draws the design in 3D with you at a free design visit, and comes back to fit it himself. The furniture is made to our specification by established manufacturers in Leicestershire, and every filler and end panel is scribed to your walls and ceiling on site, to the millimetre.
What makes ours different
We don’t leave gaps for a trim to hide: every filler and end panel is scribed to the room on site.
An 18mm solid-back carcase. Every carcase has solid 18mm sides, backs and tops. It stands square on its own, which is why the doors line up on the day we fit and stay lined up.
Scribed to the millimetre. No wall is straight and no ceiling is level, least of all in an older house. Every filler and end panel is cut to your wall and ceiling on site, so the furniture meets the plaster and the coving cleanly, with no gaps and no blanking strips.
Floor to ceiling, wall to wall. Most of our wardrobes use the full height of the room, so the space above the doors becomes storage rather than a shelf for dust.
Soft-close hinges and drawers. Doors close quietly and drawers never slam.
One price that includes everything. Every panel, plinth, cornice, handle and interior is in the figure we quote. Nothing is added on afterwards.
Lighting and worktops. Dimmable LED lighting in warm or neutral white is available inside the wardrobes and over open shelving, and 36mm worktops are available for a dressing table or a dressing-room island.
Hinged, sliding or walk-in
Every one is a built-in wardrobe, made to the room rather than stood in it. The right type depends on your room, how you dress and what’s in the way. Here is how we think about the three.
Hinged doors
Full-height doors on soft-close hinges, in any of our door styles. Hinged doors give you the whole opening at once, and they suit framed styles like Harrington or Contemporary Shaker, which look best as one full-height door. They need room to swing, so they work best where the bed sits back from the wardrobe wall. Inside, the layout is yours: long hanging, double hanging, shelves and drawers in whatever mix suits your clothes.
Sliding wardrobes
Where the bed, a door swing or a radiator sits close to the wardrobe wall, sliding doors save the floor space a hinged door needs. Our sliding doors have aluminium frames in silver, champagne, black, graphite, gold, olive or sage, with board, mirror or glass panels, including smoked or reeded glass. They are made to your opening and run floor to ceiling, so the whole wall becomes one clean plane. Our guide to sliding or hinged wardrobe doors helps you choose. Behind them the interior is the same as a hinged wardrobe, planned around what you own.
Walk-in wardrobes and dressing rooms
A spare room, a deep recess or the far end of a large bedroom can become a dressing room: open hanging at two heights, shelves, drawer banks and shoe storage around the walls, with a 36mm-worktop island and dimmable lighting available.
Awkward rooms
Most rooms aren’t perfect rectangles, and that is where made-to-measure furniture comes into its own. Three shapes in particular.
- Sloping ceilings and lofts. Angled doors made to the pitch of the roof, loft conversions, and eaves that become drawers instead of dead space, like the reed green wardrobe angled under a Loughborough ceiling. See our guide to planning wardrobes for a sloping ceiling.
- Alcoves and chimney breasts. Victorian terraces and 1930s semis with alcoves that are never the same width, scribed to the wall on both sides. See the Harrington wardrobes built round a chimney breast in Loughborough and the fluted wardrobes in Sileby, or read more about fitted wardrobes for alcoves and chimney breasts.
- Box rooms. A wardrobe to the ceiling along one wall, built around the door swing and the window, often leaves more floor clear than a freestanding wardrobe, because the storage goes up instead of out.
If your room has a problem we haven’t listed, send us a photo through the contact page.
Door styles and finishes
Door style sets the character of the room more than anything else.
Classic and shaker. Harrington 4-Panel, Chester, Contemporary Shaker, Shaker No Grooves, Regency and Cairo Fretted. Framed doors with a painted-look finish in matt and supermatt colours, from soft neutrals to deep greens and blues.
Fluted and contemporary. Stockholm, with its fluted face, alongside Oslo, Estoril, Capri and Aurora for a plain slab look, and Manhattan with an integrated handle in brass or black for a run of doors with nothing on the surface at all.
Glass and panelling. Aluminium-framed sliding doors with board, mirror or glass panels, including smoked or reeded glass, and acoustic slat panels in oak and walnut tones for a feature panel or an end.
Every style comes in a wide choice of colours, and the carcase colour inside can match the doors or contrast with them. The finishes page shows them all. We don’t have a showroom, so Aaran brings the samples to your design visit and you see them in your own light against your own walls.
What it costs
We don’t publish prices, because a wardrobe priced without seeing the room is a guess. What we can tell you is what moves the price.
Size comes first: the width of the run and whether it goes to the ceiling. Then the door style, which falls into three tiers, £ to £££: plain edged doors at one end, feature finishes at the other. The carcase, the scribing and the fitting are the same at every tier. The price guide sets the tiers out.
Whatever the tier, you get one figure that includes every panel, plinth, cornice, handle and interior, fitted. The quote is valid for 30 days, and the figure stays the same throughout the year.
The guarantee
Every job comes with our guarantee: 10 years, fitted by us. The last three words matter. There is no separate installer and no head office. If a hinge needs adjusting in five years, you call the people who fitted it.

Why choose bespoke
The difference you'll notice.
Made to your room, not a catalogue
Many national companies build in set heights and widths, then close the gaps with filler strips. Your furniture is made to the exact height, width and depth your room needs, so it looks as though it was always there.
Designed around your life
No set interior layouts and no short list of colours. Every shelf, rail and drawer is planned around what you own and how you use the room, in the finish you choose.
One person, start to finish
With many companies you meet a designer, then a surveyor, then a fitter you have never seen before. With us, Aaran designs your room, measures it and fits it himself, so you always know who is coming into your home.
Built to last: an 18mm solid-back carcase, premium soft-close hinges and drawers, and every edge scribed to your walls and ceiling by hand.
The anatomy of a bespoke wardrobe
Every filler and end panel is scribed by hand to your walls and ceiling, so the furniture meets the plaster with no gaps.
A wide choice of bars, knobs, cup and edge pulls, or doors with the handle built in, in finishes from brushed brass to matt black. Shown here: Hallaton handles in brushed brass, set perfectly level across every door.
Shaker, panelled, fluted or slab, in the colour and finish you choose. Shown here: 4-panel Contemporary Shaker in Cashmere.
Soft, dimmable lighting set into the shelves, so the display catches the light morning and evening.
Two rails, one above the other, for shirts, jackets and folded trousers. Twice the hanging in the same width.
Soft LED strips run down each section, so everything is easy to find, even on dark winter mornings.
Long hanging for dresses and coats, set at the height that suits you.
Wide, deep drawers on soft-close runners, for knitwear and the things you would rather keep out of sight.
Shelves spaced around what you own, from jumpers to spare bedding, each with room to breathe.
Low-sided trays that bring every pair into view, then glide quietly back.
Lit open shelves at the end of the run, for the pieces you want to see every day.

Questions people ask
Do you fit kitchens?
No. We design and fit bedroom furniture, home offices and living-room storage. We don't do kitchens, bathroom suites, tiling or flooring (fitted bathroom storage such as vanity units is fine), and we don't fit furniture you've bought elsewhere.
Can you fit wardrobes under a sloping ceiling?
Yes. Angled doors and carcases are made to the pitch of your ceiling, and the eaves become drawers or low cupboards rather than wasted space.
How long does it take?
From your go-ahead to fitting day is usually 6 to 8 weeks.
What's included in the price?
Everything. Every carcase, door, panel, plinth, cornice, handle and interior, plus the design, the delivery and the fitting, in one figure. If you don't change the design, the price holds for the 30 days the quote is valid.
What guarantee do you give?
A 10-year guarantee, fitted by us. Because the people who designed and fitted your wardrobes are the people you'd call, there's no installer or head office in between.
Do I need to visit a showroom?
No. We don't have one. Aaran brings the door and colour samples to your home at the design visit, so you see them in your light, against your walls and your carpet.
