The customer wanted storage either side of the chimney breast in their dining room, with a bar area and a place for their appliances. The ceilings were very tall and the alcoves shallow, so each unit was made to its own alcove and run right up to the ceiling.
The left alcove holds a tall cupboard with storage planned around the appliances. The right has a cupboard up high, open oak-effect shelves for the bar, a wine rack and a cupboard below. The doors are 4-panel Contemporary Shaker in Cashmere, with the customer’s own handles, and it was all fitted in one day.
The main photo shows the room finished and styled. The others are how we left it on fitting day.
